Job summary

ExcelCare Health Management is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide at our Dover, New Jersey location to support meal service, food prep, and safe dining environments for residents. You will assist with trays, according to dietary guidelines, and help maintain clean work areas in a fast-paced healthcare kitchen.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, solid communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Experience in food service or healthcare is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines
• Deliver trays to resident rooms and dining areas
• Follow portion control and sanitation procedures
• Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and dishware
• Assist with food storage and inventory rotation
• Provide snacks and hydration as directed
• Support special dietary needs and resident preferences
• Work collaboratively with dietary and nursing staff
