Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in food service in healthcare or skilled nursing is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation: assist the cook in preparing meals, snacks, and beverages per dietary plans.
• Tray Assembly: set up dining rooms and assemble food trays per resident diet cards.
• Service: serve meals to residents with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Sanitation: clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, equipment, and dining areas after meals.
• Inventory & Safety: assist with unpacking, storing, and rotating food stocks while following safety standards.
• Compliance: follow local health department regulations and facility safety guidelines.
