Job summary

Riverfront Rehab in New Jersey seeks a dedicated Dietary Aide to assist in food service operations and maintain sanitary dining areas. The role offers a $15.92/hour rate and benefits including health insurance, 401K, holiday pay, PTO, and overtime opportunities.

You will collaborate with a team to serve meals, assist in food preparation, and support daily cleaning tasks while adhering to safety and diet guidelines. Join a compassionate, resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand directions in English language.
• Previous Food Service Aide experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Reports at assigned time, in uniform, ready for duty.
• Handles food and equipment according to sanitation policies and procedures.
• Is aware of safety regulations and responsibilities in operating all equipment.
• Delivers food carts, trays, etc. to designated areas, including resident rooms and dining room, as instructed by supervisor.
• Serve – in dining rooms.
• Prepares and delivers snacks as directed.
• Assists in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Reports any discrepancies in his/her area to department supervisor.
• Ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights.
• Performs related work as assigned.
