Job summary

Nans Pointe Rehabilitation and Nursing invites applications for a Dietary Aide role. Join our team to assist in meal prep and service, maintaining clean and sanitary kitchen and dining areas under the Dietary Director's supervision.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, strong English communication, and a customer-service focused approach. Previous hospital or long-term care dietary experience is preferred, with a team-oriented mindset and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks.
• Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the customer experience, enhance work flow, and/or improve the work environment.
• Set up trays and deliver meals to residents.
• Wash dishes, clean equipment, wipe dining surfaces, and mop floors as assigned.
• Stock and store food items, assist in inventorying and storing incoming foods and supplies.
