Job summary

Elevate Care Riverwoods in Buffalo Grove, IL is hiring a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. This full-time position covers 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM shifts, including weekends, to ensure residents receive nutritious meals.

As a Dietary Aide, you will assist with meal service, maintain cleanliness, support the dietary team, and help accommodate special diets while delivering friendly, resident-focused care in a supportive environment. Equal Opportunity Employer AAHP.

Qualifications

• Previous Experience in Dietary or Food Service (Preferred).
• Knowledge of Food Safety & Sanitation Guidelines.
• Strong Communication & Teamwork Skills.
• Ability to Lift and Carry Supplies as Needed.
• Compassionate, Resident-Focused Approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Meal Service - Help prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents based on their dietary needs.
• Maintain Cleanliness & Organization - Ensure food preparation and dining areas are clean and sanitized at all times.
• Support Dietary Team - Assist in food preparation, portioning, and delivery to ensure timely meal service.
• Assist with Special Diets - Provide support for residents with special dietary needs and preferences, such as low-sodium, low-sugar, or vegetarian diets.
• Stock & Maintain Supplies - Assist with inventory management and ensure kitchen supplies are replenished as needed.
• Work Closely with Residents - Offer friendly service and ensure resident satisfaction with meals.
