Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• On-the-job training provided; previous experience in food service preferred.
• Experience working in long-term care or with elderly population preferred.
• Must possess outstanding communication skills and be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must possess superior customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals in dining room, private dining room, or deliver trays to residents' rooms/apartments.
• Set up meal trays, dining room, and related dining service areas.
• Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures and ensure utensils are available for next meal.
• Follow safety regulations and sanitary policies in all food preparation and service tasks.
