Job summary

HHS Talent Solutions, LLC is seeking a motivated Dietary Aide/Server to join our healthcare team in Arlington Heights, IL. This paid hourly position involves assisting in meal service, basic food preparation, and maintaining sanitation in a healthcare or senior living setting.

Responsibilities include serving meals per dietary needs, assisting with prep, and upholding food safety and PPE protocols. Prior geriatric or dietary aide experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living or dietary aide preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g. JCAHO) and sanitation.
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely.
• Excellent customer service with geriatric residents.
• Comfort working in healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents in accordance with their dietary needs and preferences.
• Assist with food preparation, including basic cooking, portioning, and plating of meals.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas through proper sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Support the dietary department by bussing tables, clearing trays, and ensuring a tidy environment.
• Adhere to food safety protocols, including PPE.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely during service and preparation.
• Follow safe lifting practices to prevent injury.
