Qualifications

• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements, and follow written and oral instructions.
• No experience required; a willingness to learn is needed.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate resident needs.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to interact with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to residents, starting with tray setup and serving regular meals.
• Deliver snack items and fulfill special event food requests.
• Maintain food safety, deliver and retrieve trays, and wash dishes.
• Uphold safety and sanitary standards and follow all policies and regulations.
• Provide friendly customer service and build rapport with residents and families.
