Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant or a Certified Dental Assistant.
• CPR certification required.
• Trained by an Accredited Dental Assistant School.
• 1+ years of Dental Assisting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate treatment needs clearly to parents and patient per treatment plan.
• Identify and manage prior authorization requirements and ensure signed consent.
• Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of patients.
• Document all treatment rendered in dental records (electronic and paper).
• Perform general housekeeping and restocking as needed.
