Job summary

Family Dental Care of Rocky Hill in Rocky Hill, CT is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. The role supports the dentist during a variety of procedures, helps prepare rooms, takes X-rays, and maintains patient records.

We value empathy, patience, and strong communication. 1–2 years of experience preferred; DANB RHS and IC certifications required. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Dental Assisting experience preferred.
• DANB RHS & IC Certification required.
• Outstanding professionalism, high moral standards, and a self-motivated work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure equipment is ready for dentists.
• Assist dentists during procedures by handing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Take and process X-rays of patients; perform lab tasks as instructed.
• Greet patients, schedule appointments, and discuss oral hygiene with patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures.
• Support general administrative duties to maintain the practice.
