Job summary

Hillcrest Highlands of Gretna is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant / Med Tech to join our team. You will provide medication support, personal care, and daily living assistance to residents, promoting independence and dignity.

Ideal candidates have Nebraska Medication Aide certification (40 hours) and prior experience in assisted living or memory support. This is a full-time day role with a supportive team and mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Medication Aide coursework preferred.
• 40 hour Nebraska Medication Aide certification required.
• Experience providing personal care to aging adults in assisted living or memory support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete medication passes according to regulations and resident preferences.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living per individualized plan.
• Support bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, mobility and other personal-care needs.
• Obtain and document vital signs as scheduled.
• Complete monthly resident summaries as required.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Assist with resident laundry per schedule.
• Spend meaningful one-on-one time with residents.
• Communicate resident concerns to the Director of Assisted Living.
