Job summary

Avalon Memory Care in Keller, TX is hiring caregivers to assist residents with daily living activities, support care plans, and help with transfers. You will help maintain a clean living environment, remind residents to take medications, and follow safety policies. Prior senior care is preferred, CNA is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must clear a criminal background check.
• Documentation of immunizations.
• Must be at least 18 years old or a high school graduate.
• Experience with seniors preferred; CNA preferred but not required.
• Lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and restroom help).
• Implement and support resident care plans.
• Assist transferring residents between places (bed to wheelchair).
• Maintain a clean home for residents (bedrooms, kitchen, laundry).
• Provide medication reminders and assist with taking medications.
• Adhere to the Alcohol and Drug Free workplace policy.
• Other duties as required.
