Job summary

Brookings Health System in Brookings, SD is seeking a Long Term Care Housekeeping Aide to support our Neighborhoods at Brookview. The role focuses on cleaning and disinfecting resident areas to create a welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff.

You will participate in quality improvement and customer service activities, with daily shifts 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, full-time, benefit eligible. Basic laundry and housekeeping knowledge, ability to lift, and attention to detail are

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of laundry and housekeeping processes.
• Must be able to do moderate lifting and be on feet during entire shift.
• Must be detailed oriented and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect in the Town Center, Physical Therapy, Resident rooms and the 'Sun' rooms to meet facility standards.
• Engage in department quality improvement and participate in customer service activities as requested.
