Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years’ culinary experience or a culinary certificate/degree.
• 1 year cook/chef experience preferred.
• ServSafe Food Handlers Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and set up food production and quality control of all items.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Label, date, and rotate products for safety and sanitation compliance.
• Keep work area clean and sanitary per Health Department/ServSafe standards.
• Assist, train and guide prep cooks and culinary staff in daily tasks.
• Record temperatures consistently as required.
• Refer to menus for daily prep and special dietary needs.
