Job summary

All Saints Sub Acute and Skilled Nursing, part of PACS Group, seeks a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. We offer full-time, part-time, or PRN roles with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include providing OT treatments, assisting residents with ADLs, documenting progress, and collaborating with the care team to achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active California COTA license.
• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Experience in skilled nursing, subacute, or post-acute rehab preferred.
• Knowledge of ADLs, rehab principles, and therapy techniques.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT treatments to residents under supervision of OT.
• Help residents improve ADLs and functional tasks.
• Document treatments and progress according to policies.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and follow infection control procedures.
• Communicate with supervising OT about progress and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and families to support outcomes.
• Participate in care conferences and rehab meetings.
• Educate Restorative Aides and staff on OT topics.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home programs.
• Recommend adaptive equipment to promote independence.
