Job summary

Brightway Living & Learning is seeking a dedicated Cook/Housekeeper to support adults in a residential service setting on Long Island. This full-time, on-site position offers meal preparation and thorough housekeeping to create safe, clean living spaces in Chelsea Apartment, Central Islip, NY.

You will follow menus with a Nutritionist, perform heavy cleaning, and help with events, while building meaningful relationships with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning to high standards and safety guidelines.
• Ability to follow menus and meal preparation guidelines.
• Physical ability to lift 25 lbs and perform housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Heavy cleaning of house, bathrooms, kitchen and common areas.
• Meal preparation and planning in coordination with Nutritionist.
• Report maintenance needs and notify supervisor of repairs.
• Follow safety rules and comply with regulatory requirements.
