You will follow menus, assist with meal service, ensure dietary restrictions are met, and collaborate with staff to deliver quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation required or preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in cooking or food service, healthcare/long-term care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions and therapeutic diets helpful.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dietary Manager with meal preparation and food production.
• Prepare and serve meals following approved menus and recipes.
• Ensure meals meet dietary restrictions and special diets as ordered.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion sizes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow all food safety and infection control guidelines.
• Store food and supplies properly and safely.
• Assist with meal service and tray preparation as needed.
