Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of dietary experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to prepare a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and food service practices.
• Experience caring for older adults helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with established menus and dietary requirements.
• Prepare food in large quantities while maintaining quality, taste, and presentation.
• Follow special dietary restrictions and provide appropriate alternatives.
• Follow proper food preparation, sanitation, and hygienic practices.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and food preparation area.
