Job summary

Franklin Apartment Management, LTD is seeking a compassionate Cook for our assisted living community in Johns Creek, GA. The Cook will prepare high-quality meals, supervise kitchen operations, and ensure safety and cleanliness for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass Criminal Background Screening and comply with Drug Free Workplace policy.
• Flexible/adaptable with strong time management and safety awareness.
• Must possess current manager’s level food handler permit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious and attractive meals that are colorful and well presented.
• Supervise the kitchen under the direction of the Culinary Director.
• Prepare high quality meals in line with local customs and approved recipes, budgets, and policies.
• Oversee dishwashing and proper maintenance of kitchen equipment; monitor temperatures and chemicals to prevent illness.
• Interact with residents and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Handle other duties as assigned per full job description.
