Job summary

Kaw River Care and Rehab in Edwardsville, KS is hiring a Full-time Cook with swing shift to join our caring team. You will prepare meals for residents in accordance with regulatory guidelines and maintain quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements and follow written and oral instructions.
• Cook experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn.
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to interact with residents, vendors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure quality and proper temperature of food items.
• Maintain safety and sanitary conditions and follow all company policies.
• Provide friendly customer service and build relationships with residents and families.
