Job summary

Class LTD in Pittsburg, KS is hiring a full-time Coach/Driver to support individuals with disabilities. The role includes coaching on daily living, transporting clients, and providing companionship, with a 40-hour workweek and day shifts Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities also cover monitoring health and safety, assisting with medications per physician instructions, and maintaining logs. A valid state driver’s license, background check clearance, and ability to lift 50 lbs are required;

Qualifications

• Must maintain a current and valid driver’s license for residence state.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Willingness to pass background check.
• Experience is appreciated but not required; training provided.
• Must be able to work with male and female clients.
• May require a CDL for some positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and companionship to individuals with disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities and transportation to appointments.
• Coach on coping with challenges and support independent living.
• Distribute and record medications as prescribed by a physician.
• Monitor health, safety, and well-being; maintain case notes and plans.
• Pre-employment testing will be required.
