Job summary

Ambercare is urgently hiring Home Care Aides (HCAs) in the Santa Fe area. The role offers part-time hours with flexible schedules and opportunities to learn quality home care. Qualifications

Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant training is required.
Satisfactory background check and valid driver’s license.
Good communication and interpersonal skills essential.
Desire to compassionately care for others.
Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized.

Responsibilities

Remind clients to take medication at the appropriate time.
Assist clients with therapy exercises under supervision.
Assist with personal care: hair, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, dressing.
Assist with routine bodily functions.
Maintain a safe, clean environment with light housekeeping.
Provide companionship and accompany clients to appointments.
Observe and report changes in client’s condition to the Agency Director or Service Coordinator.
Turn or reposition bedridden patients.
Examine patient for bruises, blood in urine, or other injuries.
