Job summary

Ambercare is seeking an entry-level Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver quality home care to seniors and individuals with disabilities in New Mexico. The role offers flexible hours and an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of home care while contributing to a growing, values-driven organization.

As an Ambercare Certified Nurse Aide, you will remind clients to take medications, assist with exercises, and provide essential personal care in clients\' homes. Walk-ins are welcome at any branch.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant training is required.
• 1 year minimum experience.
• Satisfactory background check and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take medications at the proper times.
• Assist with therapy exercises under a Registered Therapist.
• Provide personal care: hair, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, dressing.
• Assist with routine bodily functions.
• Perform light housekeeping: bed linens, dusting, vacuuming, kitchen/bathroom cleaning, laundry.
• Provide companionship and engage in activities.
• Observe and report changes to the Agency Director or Service Coordinator.
• Turn or reposition bedridden clients.
• Examine for bruises, blood in urine, or injuries.
