Job summary

Visiting Angels Naperville is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA to join our local team. You will support seniors at home with daily tasks, mobility, hygiene, and companionship, delivering compassionate care in a respectful, patient-centered approach.

We offer ongoing training, flexible shifts including part-time options, and opportunities to grow within the organization. Interviews are held weekly in Naperville; come prepared with ID and your license.

Qualifications

• Passion to serve others and provide compassionate care.
• Knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Ability to assist with personal care, bathing, hair and teeth care.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Respectful, empathetic and ethical.
• Physical endurance to assist with mobility and daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Must be willing to assist clients with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, brushing hair and teeth, or applying skincare.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
