Job summary

Visiting Angels Naperville is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to care for seniors in the Naperville area. Open In-Person Interviews occur every Wednesday from 9am-3pm; please bring a valid driver’s license or ID.

Our office is located at 1415 Bond St #123, Naperville, IL 60563. The role supports seniors with mobility, personal care, medication help, meals, and light housekeeping, with opportunities to grow through dementia or Alzheimer’s care training.

• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Must be willing to assist clients with personal care and hygiene, including but not such bathing assistance, brushing hair and teeth, or applying skincare
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
