Job summary

Visiting Angels Naperville is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support local seniors with light duties, mobility, meals, personal hygiene, and companionship. The role offers opportunities to grow through dementia or Alzheimer's care training and to join a compassionate team in Naperville and surrounding communities.

Interview details: in-person interviews every Wednesday 9am-3pm at 1415 Bond St #123, Naperville.

Qualifications

• Must be a compassionate caregiver with a passion to serve others.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good time management and organizational abilities.
• Strong ethics and respectful, compassionate demeanor.
• Physical endurance for home care duties.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with prescribed medications.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing and skincare.
• Support clients with routine exercises and mobility.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Run errands or accompany clients to appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe environment.
• Provide companionship and report any incidents or concerns.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
