Job summary

Avir at Colonel is seeking a compassionate CNA Transportation Driver to safely transport residents to appointments and events. You will maintain records, ensure vehicle cleanliness, and build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.

Expect varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with emphasis on safety, communication, and teamwork. A CNA certification and a clean driving record are required to join our dedicated transportation team.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a CNA (CNA) is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift or move residents as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, social events, and other off-site activities in a timely and courteous manner
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including resident whereabouts and any relevant notes
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the transportation vehicle at all times
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of transportation services
• Participate in training and education programs to maintain knowledge of industry standards, policies, and procedures
