Job summary

Westfield Quality Care of Aurora is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Transportation Aide to join our team. As a full-time transporter, you will help move residents to appointments, therapies, and activities, while ensuring safety and comfort throughout each journey.

The role requires a current CNA certification, a valid driver’s license, and a compassionate, detail‑oriented approach. You’ll work closely with nursing staff, document transport activities, and support residents

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and activities.
• Provide emotional support and companionship during transportation.
• Monitor resident vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with wheelchair and stretcher transfers.
• Maintain records of transportation activities and resident vitals.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans.
• Participate in orientation and training to ensure policy compliance.
