Harborview-Health-System is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team in Tarboro, NC. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse and assist residents with daily living activities, while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

You will document care, monitor changes in condition, and support individualized care plans, providing emotional support to residents and families.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program is required.
• Active CNA certification in good standing is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift, move and support residents safely.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Assist with resident mobility, turning, transfers and ambulation using proper techniques.
• Maintain a clean, safe and supportive environment.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents and their families.
• Assist in documentation of care and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Support the care team in developing and implementing individualized care plans.

Formação académica

High school diploma or equivalent

Completion of state-approved CNA training program
