Job summary

Eastern Health Group is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care under licensed nursing supervision. This role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care and daily support for residents’ activities of daily living.

Qualifications

• Valid state Nursing Assistant certification is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents daily and as needed.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, intake/output and other information.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices.
• Observe residents and report changes to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist in collecting data for the MDS and care plan development.
• Maintain hydration and assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards in assigned areas.
