Job summary

The Landings of Smithfield in Smithfield, NC is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care to residents, assist with ADLs, and support the nursing team in maintaining health and well-being.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a state-approved CNA training program, and a compassionate, team-oriented approach. CPR/First Aid preferred; background check required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of state-approved CNA training program.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Provide companionship and encourage participation in activities.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures and assist in emergencies.
