Job summary

Pikes Peak Post Acute in Missouri is seeking a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents according to care plans and supervision.

You will identify residents, assist with daily activities, monitor conditions, document accurately, and communicate changes to the Nurse Supervisor. The role requires attention to safety, confidentiality, and compassionate care in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials; write reports and correspondence.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply basic math concepts.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems with concrete variables.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.
• CPR Preferred

Responsibilities

• Use wristband or photo ID to identify residents before care and treatments.
• Record entries clearly and use authorized abbreviations.
• Report changes in residents' condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain accurate flow sheets, notes, and charts.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident information and report any disclosure concerns.
• Assist residents with daily functions and personal care as trained.
• Assist with transfers, meals, and mobility as needed.
• Document and communicate any incidents or accidents promptly.
• Prepare rooms and equipment for resident care; greet and orient residents.
• Support restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed.
