Job summary

Pikes Peak Post Acute in Oregon seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care per care plans. You will identify residents, assist with daily activities, document changes, and maintain a calm, supportive environment.

Responsibilities include reporting to the Nurse Supervisor, preserving resident dignity, and ensuring accuracy in records and test preparations. CPR is preferred; licensed CNA required.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at minimum, an education equivalent to the 10th grade.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret basic instructions and procedures.
• Ability to document resident information clearly and accurately.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of resident information and comply with HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments or services using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts in an informative, descriptive manner.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain resident comfort and safety, assist with daily living activities as trained.
• Prepare residents for medical tests and escort to examination rooms as needed.
• Respect resident rights and protect protected health information at all times.
