Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

The role requires maintaining confidentiality, following policies, and supporting residents with daily living activities in a respectful environment. The position emphasizes collaboration with nursing staff, adherence to safety procedures, and timely reporting of changes in resident conditions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CNA certification in good standing with the State.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Community’s personnel, safety and corporate policies and procedures.
• Comply with the nursing department’s policies and procedures.
• Report observed or reported resident abuse/neglect immediately to the Executive Director, RCC or Unit Manager.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and family information.
• Assist in admission and discharge of residents and daily resident care activities.
• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, feeding, mobility, and paraprofessional care as directed by a licensed nurse.
