Job summary

Lynwood-Nursing- is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to provide direct resident care in a long-term care setting in Texas. You will work under a Licensed Nurse, assisting with ADLs, mobility, meals, and daily care plans while maintaining a safe, respectful environment for residents.

The role requires current CNA certification, strong communication, reliability with attendance, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state CNA certification.
• Ability to interact positively with residents, families, and regulatory agencies.
• Willing to work long or irregular hours.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Capacity to perform required physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and changing bed linens.
• Transfer and reposition residents safely to beds, chairs, and other areas.
• Support and participate in resident activity programs.
• Prepare residents for meals and snacks, assist with feeding as needed and record intake.
• Follow daily care plans and report changes to the charge nurse; document care.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies and report injuries or violations.
• Promote resident rights and professional conduct.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Be fully trained and capable of serving as a Transportation Aide.
• Participate in training, meetings, and orientation.
