Job summary

Health Here is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) in a long-term care setting. You will provide resident-centered care under RN supervision, assisting with daily living activities and documentation.

The role emphasizes compassion, safety, and teamwork in a faith-based environment. Ideal candidates will have CNA certification (or be in progress), a high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to ongoing competency testing and education.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or in progress.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age 16.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility).
• Record vital signs and collect non-invasive specimens.
• Support psychosocial needs and encourage participation in recreational activities.
• Aid with meal preparation and dining experiences.
• Document resident care and changes in condition.
• Help with housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean environment.
• Communicate resident needs to the charge nurse and assist staff.
• Participate in departmental committees and organizational initiatives as needed.
