Job summary

Valley Healthcare System, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing home team on a PRN basis. You will assist residents with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and provide dignity-centered care in a safe environment.

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania required.
Experience in a nursing home or long-term care setting preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Compassionate, patient, dependable caregiving.
Ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing and toileting.
Support mobility, transfers and repositioning to prevent discomfort.
Take and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
Assist with feeding and monitor nutritional intake.
Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
Follow care plans and facility policies and procedures.
Accurately document care provided.
