Job summary

Valley Baptist Health System is seeking a Per Diem Night Nursing Assistant to provide basic and intermediate nursing care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role covers adult patients across various units with unit-specific variations and emphasizes compassionate care and patient comfort.

Under close supervision, you will perform established competencies within the introductory period, contributing to a supportive healthcare team dedicated to patient well-being and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent.
• PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1 year hospital experience
• REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of a current state or national nurse’s aide certification or a certification as a phlebotomist, medical technician, patient care technician, medical assistant, EKG tech or in another related field.
• REQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): BLS –Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center.

Responsibilities
