Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) months experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in an acute care hospital, skilled nursing, extended care, or clinical outpatient setting.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (California) and Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a licensed nurse the CNA provides patient care and assists with listed tasks.
• Assist with safety, hygiene, comfort, nutritional needs, and mobility for patients.
• Document data and communicate needs to the RN; participate in unit duties as assigned.
• Support the nursing team and follow age-appropriate care practices.
