Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited CNA training program.
• Valid CNA certification/license as required by state.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care techniques.
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure).
• Support patients with mobility needs (transfers, repositioning, ambulation).
• Provide nutritional support by assisting with feeding and hydration.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment following infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient status.
• Assist with basic medical procedures under supervision of RNs or LPNs.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in compliance with healthcare regulations.
