Job summary

Mission Nursing & Rehabilitation in Mission, TX is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate daily living assistance to residents. You will help with bathing, dressing, mobility, nutrition, and safety, while collaborating with the nursing team to monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly.

Ideal candidates have completed an accredited CNA program, hold a valid CNA license, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of CNA training program.
• Valid CNA certification/license as required by state/local authority.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care techniques.
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings including immunizations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Support patients with mobility needs, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide nutritional support by assisting with feeding and ensuring patients receive proper hydration.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient status, concerns, and changes in condition.
• Assist with basic medical procedures under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in compliance with healthcare regulations.
