The ideal candidate holds Texas CNA certification, demonstrates patience and strong communication, and adheres to safety policies and the Patient Bill of Rights.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Texas CNA certification.
• Accurately records vitals, weights, intake/output, and meals.
• Effective communication, patience, and teamwork.
• Cares for elderly and disabled residents.
• Adheres to Patient Bill of Rights and employee responsibilities.
• Follows safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: grooming, bathing, catheter care, peri-care, dressing.
• Maintain Resident Environment: change linens, stock supplies.
• Support Mobility: safely ambulate and transfer residents with assistive devices.
• Record Vital Information: document vitals, weights, intake/output, meals.
• Assist with Positioning: turn/reposition residents for comfort and safety.
• Encourage Engagement: lead ROM exercises, provide orientation as directed.
