Qualifications

• Certified in American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients across the life span.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Registered Nurse to organize work and set priorities.
• Provide personal care and basic nursing tasks under RN supervision.
• Maintain safety and infection control in accordance with policies.
• Document data accurately in the EHR and clinical records.
• Communicate patient observations to the RN in a timely manner.
• May function as a patient observer in emergency/code situations.
