Qualifications include Virginia/West Virginia CNA registry, BLS certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Registry of the Board of Nursing as a Certified Nurse Aide required.
• Must be listed on the relevant Registry of the Board of Nursing as a CNA in Virginia and/or West Virginia.
• BLS Certification (AHA Healthcare Provider) required prior to orientation.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine personal care duties for patients under RN/LPN supervision.
• Maintains a safe environment and reports problems promptly.
• May act as a preceptor in orientation of new CNAs after gaining experience.
