Job summary

Heritage Woods of Belvidere is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Belvidere, IL team on a part-time basis for the 2nd shift. You will support residents with daily living activities, encouraging independence and dignity while following care plans.

This role offers competitive hourly pay of $17.25–$18.25, a supportive work environment, and access to benefits and retirement plan. Experience with ADLs, strong communication, and a patient-centered approach are essential.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required.
• Current certification from an accredited CNA program.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience.
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
