Job summary

HomeWell Care Services in Flagler Beach, FL, seeks compassionate CNAs and HHAs for full-time and part-time hours. You will provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, help with mobility and transfers, prepare meals, offer companionship, and perform light housekeeping.

Experience with dementia, ADLs/IADLs, wound care, and catheter care is preferred. Required: valid CNA or HHA certification (or completion of a recognized training program).

Qualifications

• Valid CNA or HHA certification or completion of a recognized training program.
• Experience in patient care preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare practices.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and professionals.
• Compassionate and caring attitude toward patients.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up.
