Job summary

HomeWell Care Services is seeking CNAs and HHAs for full-time, part-time, and PRN roles across Volusia, Flagler, and St. Johns counties in Florida. The caregiver will provide direct patient care, assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and support mobility with safe transfers.

A valid CNA or HHA certification is required, with two years of caregiving experience preferred. Applicants should be caring, reliable, and able to work independently, coordinating with nurses and other professionals.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA or Home Health Aide certification.
• Experience in patient care preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely and comfortably.
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and professionals.
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and individual preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up.
