Job summary

HomeWell Care Services in Florida seeks caring CNAs and HHAs for full-time, part-time, and PRN roles across Volusia, Flagler, and St. Johns counties. The team looks for compassionate caregivers who engage well with clients.

Responsibilities include direct patient care under RN supervision, assistance with ADLs, vital signs, mobility transfers, meal prep, companionship, and light housekeeping. Requirements include valid CNA/HHA certification or recognized training, 2+ years preferred,

Qualifications

• Must have valid CNA or HHA certification or completion of a recognized training program.
• Experience in providing patient care preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare practices.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely and comfortably.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Monitor vital signs and record results.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs.

• Assist with light housekeeping tasks (laundry, tidying).

• Experience with Dementia
• Experience with ADL's and IADL's
• Experience with limited non weight bearing patients.
• Experience working with patients that has wound management
• Experience working with Super pubic catheters
• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed
• RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!
• 2 YEARS MIN EXP WITH AS A CAREGIVER (preferred)
