Job summary

Myrtle Beach Manor is seeking CNAs to join our team. The CNA reports directly to the Director of Nursing and works in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods.

The role focuses on providing hands-on care, emotional support, and adherence to Personalized Service Plans while maintaining a safe, home-like environment. Availability for PRN shifts, including weekends and evenings, is expected.

Qualifications

• High School education preferred and may be required by the state.
• SC State CNA Licensure required.
• Previous experience working with elders or disabled individuals preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to perform personal care tasks.
• Knowledge of Assisted Living, Dementia care or Skilled Nursing preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Participates in developing and updating Personalized Service Plans with families.
• Follow hydration schedules and ensure residents are served meals or provided room service as needed.
• Complete meal attendance sheets and account for residents who do not dine in the dining room.
• Maintain resident rights and safety as priority.
• Initiate, assign, and assist with activities for residents as appropriate.
• Check residents daily for cleanliness, clothing, continence, and condition changes.
• Follow sanitary procedures and universal precautions.
• Inspect resident rooms for cleanliness and secure any hazards.
• Assist with laundry and common areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
• Complete all ADLs as per PSP.
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

SC State CNA Licensure

Experience with Elders or disabled individuals
