Meridian Senior Living in Aledo, IL is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care to residents in their daily activities. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, mobility and incontinence care, along with keeping care records and reporting changes in residents' conditions.

The role requires an active CNA certification, 18+ years old, and the ability to work well in a team while communicating effectively with residents, families, staff

Qualifications

• Active State approved CNA certification in good standing with the state.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Handlers Permit as required by State regulations.
• Previous experience working with the elderly.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
• Must meet health requirements and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care assisting residents in daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, mobility and incontinence care.
• Keep proper care records and report changes in residents’ conditions.
• Interact effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
